Hawks look dangerous when they get out. Smith and Hills run has been great.

Well played Hawks. Just a bit too seasoned for the Catters this year. Too many options up forward. We don't have an answer when Hawkins is beaten and Lake gave him a bath tonight. Walker was serviceable and I'd give him another final. Johnson wasn't ready and even though he tried hard he ran out of steam,

Sel was massive and Caddy shows plenty of promise and Varcoe is playing well again after a few years in the wilderness. I thought Duncan was disappointing despite the high possession count - I thought he was really ineffective tonight. Mackie was a worry despite containing Bruest and Harry Taylor was another good player who offered us nothing. The worst for Geelong was Matty Stokes....butchered the ball nearly every time he had it.

I can handle losing to a better side. I. Can cope with smug Hawtorn supporters, but what is grinding my gears is listening to premiership Captain Tom Harley fluffing the Hawks all night. GAGF Harley, non Cat fans still can't stand you and now you've pissed us off as well. Leave that shit to Brucey and Lethal.

Regards,

REB

AFL Finals - week #1

Postby Jim05 » Fri Sep 05, 2014 11:43 pm

Cats and Hawks fans starting to take finals for granted?
Disappointing crowd especially when one club claims to have 70,000 members, pets not allowed entry?
Good game tonight and deserved a 90k + crowd
Mitchell was fantastic tonight, Hawks will be hard to beat from here

Come on Jim, all you've done is go on about how you'd love to play North at the G for the last few weeks - surely you're confident .
We finished higher yet will more than likely wear our away guernsey, only played twice at the G compared to your 7 times this year - it all points to an Essendon win.
