Embley was unlucky Pearce went in with his hands almost ran in the way of Embley. If Pearce went in with his body, they smash into each other.
Good bump, unfortunately he will get games, becoz it was high, but contact was inevitable.

Stevie J - great player but makes some stupid decisions. Will be suspended again with such a poor record you'd think

The Match Review Panel has laid eight charges from round 16.

- Jordan Lewis can accept a reprimand for striking Chad Wingard. Shaun Burgoyne can accept 2 games, rough conduct against Tom Logan.

- Kane Cornes can accept one match for rough conduct on Sam Mitchell. Penalty impacted by six-year good record.

- Steve Johnson can accept one match for kneeing Nathan Jones. Penalty impacted by bad record and could not be reduced to a reprimand.

- Ben McGlynn can accept 3 games for striking Tom Scully. Darren Glass can accept $900 sanction for umpire contact.

- Andrew Embley can accept 2 games for rough conduct on Clancee Pearce. Matthew Pavlich can accept 3 games for head-on contact on Mitch Brown.

If i remember rightly The Burgoyne one is rough and Hawks will fight it, didnt get him high did it?

Was nothing in the Cornes/Mitchell incident, port should fight that.

Pavlich getting 3 is a disgrace, it should be 1 or none depending on record, hardly got him.

Stevie J gets one for stupidity, none if he had a good record so thats fair.

Must be something more serious than that.
They are a disgrace.
A complete overhaul of personnel is needed ASAP.

Surprised Burgoyne got two weeks

With his record I was surprised Johnson didn't get more, dropping your knees into someone is a dirty dog of an act

Burgoyne one slipped up a bit and copped a bit of chin, its sad the game has come to this these days... basically its the stupidity of the system.

The Cornes/Mitchell one is probably the first ever case of someone being suspended for pushing.
