Caro mentioned on Monday night that Buddy's contract doesn't have a slide that incorporates the new CBA so effectively he won't be getting paid anywhere near the sum initially spoken about in his mega deal.

Did a ladder predictor, the Swans are a near certainty at $12 to finish top 4. There's only 2 50/50 games left for them, Geelong in Geelong and GWS , Win one and they finish top 4 with an outside chance of minor premiers, win both and the minor premiership is almost a lock at $101.
I think they are the only team capable of going on a big winning streak, Adelaide, Geelong and GWS have shown they have weaknesses. I dont rate the Bulldogs but somehow in my predictor they finished 4th so they must have an easy draw. I guess thats the advantage of finishing 7th, why wouldnt next years draw be based on positions after the finals??

I only discussed Sydney $9 for top 4 with some learned punting mates yesterday. I think they're the team most likely to get on a run, I think they'll win Hawthorn (H), Bulldogs (H), Richmond, Essendon (H), Melbourne, GC (H), Giants, Saints (H) , Hawks, Cats, Dockers (H) , Crows, Carlton (H) and end up with 14 or 15 wins.

That will be plenty, especially with good percentage which they will have after playing us twice. A more even comp means less wins to make the top 4 and to finish top

Interesting bet. Bulldogs and Richmond have both given the Swans grief at times. Crows at the Crowval will be tough as well. They probably beat us though we have no idea against them.

I reckon every team in the AFL has a D'Head or two. It's just how it is.

Last year he was all Australian form.. This year he's been injured. He has plenty of friends underperforming.

I am guessing we will offload him at the end of the season to free up space. Which we will have a fair bit off
