Crows hierarchy love Thursday night games and we seem to draw excellent crowds to them so it wouldn't surprise me if it was Thursday either

Crowd drawing wouldn't be a factor. Adelaide could play a final at 11pm on a Tuesday night & sell it out.

Not so much the crows crowd but compared to other crowds. Ie if there is an MCG game that would draw a lot more in a Friday than a Thursday but the afl can put the crows on a Thursday and still get a sell out as you have mentioned

They've never won at a Cat Park and we will get a few back. Get on the Catters mate.

I really hope Port don't play Essendon the first week of the finals. Of the probable final 8 teams, these 2 IMO are the only ones making up the numbers.
That one of them would be guaranteed another final the following week whilst either Sydney or Melbourne (who are both far better sides) won't would be a shame.

I'll give you Sydney but Melbourne aren't a "far better side" than Essendon or Port.

Every year there are team that struggle with form or injuries that still make finals. Doesn't mean they cant impact though.

Rumours out of Melbourne this morning is Dusty has cooled on Richmond, and Hawks are up to their nuts in him...

Tony Sheahan @TonySheahan
@sydneyswans making massive play for Dustin Martin. McVeigh moves on, Jack retires, Tippett's a Tiger, Dusty becomes a Swan @sydneyswans

Seriously who knows! Is that every Victorian club now?

People could make up any crap that wanted to and certain people would believe it or pass it off as a reliable source. Reporters make up so much so if something does eventuate they can say "I said that first" but what about the other 500 pieces of tripe you have put out there

I don't usually take much notice on what reporters say, but Tony Sheahan called the Buddy move to the swans and I scoffed at that...

But I guess we will wait and see... I personally think he'll be a tiger next year

Be a massive blow for the Tiges to lose Dusty - Finally start showing a bit of genuine steely promise.

Who would be on top shelf coin at Punt Rd besides DM - Cotchin, Rance, Riewoldt? You'd think they'd be able to find enough to keep him.

Tigers would need to agree to take Tippett with the full salary as I would doubt Sydney would have the cap room to continue to pay some of his wage even if Dustys contract was back ended

Why would Richmond take Tippett at all?

True, Melbourne aren't a far better side, but I bet they're the ones you'd least like to face, even in Adelaide, out of them, Essendon, WCE or bulldogs.

Having said that, they'll probably lose to Collingwood and miss the finals.
