Histerical really. How they keep talking it down is incredible. If you cant beat Port who have bee pretty average this season the shit your September might be as short as ours.

Just watched the interview with Eddie betts on afl today, and it was excellent.

The thing I found awesome was he has taken all of the aboriginal lads under his wing and they have dinner at eddie's house.

His leadership through his enthusiasm and his willingness to bring teammates into the game is very underrated too imo

He is the second best player (In terms of weekly output) we have ever recruited mid career from another club. (Im not including blokes from the original squad)

No shame coming second to the bloke who is the best as he is one of the best players I have ever seen.

When he was recruited there was lots of talk about him being worth tbat much coin etc etc small forward in and out of games etc etc. But honestly hes worth what you paid to get him. Form has been very good since he came across from Carlton.

What has he kicked around 50 goals a season? Take that everyday of the week for a small forward.

If his output was known when recruiting him I'm sure $550-600k wouldn't be unreasonable. Does far more than just kicks goals, he causes chaos when the ball is not in possession and brings everyone in the area in to the game.

51 in 2014, 63 last year, and 60 so far this year. His best at carlton was 50.

In my eyes, 40 goals would be a pass mark for him, so he is well above that

Obvious money isnt an issue, perhaps they should start contributing more than a paltry 50k, just taking the pi55 really

Still can't believe they flew to Berri. If Port did the same I'd have the same reaction.

Probably would have landed in Renmark. AFL teams playing pre-season games in the past have chartered into the airfield Renmark
