On Monday afternoon, the Power confirmed they had investigated the incident and sanctioned the club member, while flagging further sanctions from the AFL and Adelaide Oval.

“The Port Adelaide Football Club has revoked for two years the membership of a patron who threw a drink at a Richmond player following Friday night’s Preliminary Final,” they said in a statement.

“The Club will not tolerate actions that are in breach of the Club’s spectator code of behaviour, and endorses the further AFL and Stadium sanctions.”

3 year extension the rumour

so 4 more years?

Hardwick, Bomber Thompson and Mick Malthouse at Collingwood are the ones that come to mind, but there wouldn't be many more i'd have thought.

Ballsy decision, given Ken has won just 1 final in his last 6 seasons at the helm.

I don't like it.

Malcolm Blight was in his 8th season at VFL/AFL level plus 5 years at Woodville.

Good and hopefully more sanctions to come their way. WADH.

Good pick up - my post should have read greater than 5 years at the same club,

I watched it happen, I thought he'd get 5.

He picked them last year then backflipped and stayed at Essendon. It would make sense that he picks Port again

Only up side to Fantasia, has a better goals per game average than anyone he would be competing with for a spot in the team

Dixon - 1.61
Marshall - 0.97
Gray - 1.41
Woodcock - 0.6
Farrell- 1.0
Motlop - 1.12
Georgie - 1.14
Fantasia - 1.39

Needs to get his body right. We can’t afford to have Fantasia and Burton as two who are always selected when fit, but rarely fit. Potentially a Hitchcock MkII

Is Bassett locked away at Port? Only reason I ask is I keep hearing rumblings he might head to West Lakes, and given he was Ratz' initial coach at SANFL level and had a real soft spot for him, I wonder if it could play a part in where Fantasia try's to move to?

He never denied it when asked by 5AA which was odd. I can't see him leaving Port now that Burns is the senior assistant at Crows.

Former Norwood teammates though?

Im more surprised they'd consider taking Bassett at West Lakes under Ricciutio's reign from a few things I've heard over the years.

I’d much prefer Bassett and Fantasia back at the Parade :)

Like Adam Hills and Wil Anderson, you won't see them in the same room.

Freeddy is uncontracted.

Would be an ideal head coach. Surely he is on the North Melbourne radar a long long way ahead of Voss.
