I think we're all going to be pleasantly surprised on this one, it seems as though the SANFL players are willing to play for bugger all, it will go ahead, possibly before the AFL starts.

I hope your right!!

You might be on the money here.
The afl would want footy back in any form quick as.

Its in the best interest of the game to get state leagues that have zero active cases back ASAP.

Victoria on the other hand....good luck with that!

Victoria continue to get new active cases each day now, the AFL which is so Vic central has a real problem. I can't see them start in the next 2 months unless they suddenly get control of the spread again.

In SA we seem to better off why not get our local sports going.

That was always going to happen

With the amount of money they are set to get by playing games through the tv deal compared to not playing meant they will throw every financial resource to make it happen and ensure they get safety signed off.

Whilst the TV deal is huge for the AFL, don't discount how much the comp and clubs will lose via lack of gate. It's damage control at absolute best for them

The fly in fly out model looks to be set in place.

We'll be getting 11am starts on Saturday's and Sunday's so they can play triple headers and be done by 7:30-8pm to get teams on planes and back home.

So if Adelaide teams are playing in Melb, when do they fly in, same day?

Seems to be the plan, fly in and fly out. Going to be hard for the WA sides though.

AFL have pencilled in June 11 for a re-start.

Within a couple of weeks of the NRL starting, no surprise about that.

And in more outrageous news Joel Selwood has been filmed using his wife as a mop.
I hope they throw the book at him as he's set a shocking example.
My missus has already asked me to do some housework after seeing the footage.

Geez, and I thought the St Kilda dwarf burning incident was bad.

I saw that and laughed, I thought it was a bit of a laugh and it sort of gave an extra laugh saying this is how bored people are.

Then I also know this will massively blow up due to a bunch of nuffies out there. I haven't seen any comments but have read here and else where that's what's happening.
