Tunneling are you kidding me. Had eyes for the ball, seen it was going over the top so he turned to go where the ball was going as kennedy was leaping to the contest. Pure accident, anyone who has played forwards know as soon as you know that ball is going over your head you pull up, turn and go

Agree 100%. Betts didn't look away from the ball at any stage before Kennedy jumped at him. Had he looked away there would have been a free. Umpire got it right imo as much as you don't like seeing players knocking themselves out.

Only caught the last 15 mins of the Crows v GWS game. Crows must have been very good early. Well played looking more secure in the 8 now. GWS away form not stacking up?!?

Apparently it was the largest crowd GWS have ever played in front of. For that reason alone I picked the crows. Ground would have also been slightly heavier due to the rain.

They still looked very good when they move the ball but the crows smashed them in contested ball. Sloane and Thompson were great in that regard.

Super impressed with Atkins too. Played a lot more as a mid instead of the wing and his development has been exceptional.

^ GWS have a way to go then, a young group I guess so they will dish up the odd sub par effort. Taking nothing away from the crows there either. I'm kicking my self for picking GWS, my default is to select the home state side when I reckon it's going to be a bit 50/50.

Couple of lads at our cricket club had a $500 bet on crows making or not making the 8. Bet still alive but the crows lad looking good for the money!

Every time I would tune in we would be 3 or 4 goals up but then GWS would kick a couple while I was watching so I kept changing the channel. Would tune back in & we'd be 3 or 4 in front again. I only watched the last quarter (delayed on 7) once I'd seen we had won.

I could watch Josh Kelly kick the ball on the run all day long. Do they ever test for length of kick and the time the ball takes to get there? I reckon Kelly has everyone covered in that regard, he kicks 60m bombs that are so flat and get to his team mate with speed

Was out for dinner at the Barker (shyte meal by the way) they had one tv on fox, that I couldn't see from my seat. Another on 7 so in delay that I could barely see. Kept an eye on AFL app for scores. Crows jumped them early... Yes?

By that you obviously mean Half forward but starting centre bounces off half back with no opponent yeah??
