I don't think. It's purely and simply sensible management by clubs that have earned that luxury over the course of the season.

The downside of course is that it likely makes for an uneventful final round. The upside is that all teams in the finals should be as close to as healthy as they could possibly be at this tine of year.

The only way we would play in Adelaide is if - a: Adelaide win, Bulldogs win & we beat Richmond by 100+ or b: Adelaide win, Bulldogs lose & we win.
