Dees were robbed, Port gifted a few frees.

That one to Wingard on the 3/4 time siren was as soft as butter. Instead of the Dees leading at the last break they went in behind
Umpiring was a disgrace all day Melbourne had clearly the better of it in the first half then the umps see the numbers at halftime and like every other game go out in the second half and over compensate happens every week.

Umpires aside Port were nothing short of pathetic simple skill errors, non effort, simply refusing to chase and the most important of all we were out worked by a bunch of C graders.

Keep this up were out in straight sets.
That implies you get two chances, you are absolutely no chance to finish top 4

Even when you make 100% contact with the ball before the contact even happens, which Wingard caused.

If they had won their last few matches id bet there would of been 45-50k there, lose a couple and the crowd jump off

You have no idea.

How many muppets on this site think they are footy analysts and umpiring experts and form their opinions on 15 seconds of thought. Melbournes first two goals were free kicks. Who cares. I often wonder how much whinging like bitches effected your enjoyment of the game.

Just give it a try, one game where you don't worry about umpires. You will find footy a lot more enjoyable.

38,000

Playing Melbourne lunchtime Sunday?

You idiot........

Fact you have 21,000 more members than Port yet you Average only 3,000 more to your games as 'The so called biggest drawing club' back under your rock idiot.

Quite happy to stay under my rock celebrating our clubs success whilst your irrelevant club flounder in mediocrity.
See you in the finals if you even make it

Really  You Sir are marketing genius  so what your saying is that if a team is playing a better brand of footy and winning that they will get more supporters to attend. That's crazy talk.

I'm only guessing but I would assume that is our biggest crowd for a game v Melbourne.

Would of expected a few more for Doms last game but not a bad crowd considering the opponent and timeslot.

Um I don't even follow anyone in the AFL. I make my assessments on what I see without my judgement being clouded by following a club. At the end of the day I really don't care who wins or loses, but I do like to see games that are not decided by poor umpiring. Of course inconsistent umpiring is going to affect the enjoyment of anyone watching a game. All people want is consistency and to not have rule interpretations changed half way through a game.

Instead of calling everyone on here muppets, I'd probably worry about your own teams form. Could barely get over the line against a bottom four side at home. Pretty embarrassing really.

Roos and his shut down game plan. Not great watching but seems effective. So expect more of this in games to come.

We were horrid today but got the win. We have a week off and go into the last month with the opportunity to finish top 4 if we find form after the break.
Did you see us 3 years ago. I was there often and then I felt embarrassed at times but why would we be embarrassed by a win. I hope this is a season defining win. Good luck to your team, oh that's right you don't have one.

I will look forward to your umpiring critique of the late game as I will be enjoying the game.

Dogs home game, would be more if it was our home game. Unfortunately there is a whole group of our supporters that have decided they will boycott away games.
I think we are still well and truly outnumbering them still though

It did seem as though they got hotter on the HTB calls in the second half, and so they should have as they missed shotloads of them in the first half. Didn't think either team benefitted from the calls, but both suffered from it at times. Scrappy game, both teams struggled with footskills at times, Port just made a little more of their chances than the Dees. Not a game for the highlight reel, but a wins a win and it was an important one for Port. Whoever lost was never going to be able to blame the umps when they were responsible for so many mistakes themself.
