Preliminary Finals

Talk on the national game

As the Melbourne media start to increasingly suggest the Hawks have it won I can feel myself moving towards "Caaarn Freo!"
After all if Sydney win the Melbourne media will just re-brand them as "Souths" again.

Yeah good point, go the Dockers. Will be great to see them get up tonight.

The Dockers would have a great chance, $ydney none with the 2 less days break and all ;)

If it was to be the Dockers the game will have a real mystery to it, with no formline to go on. We played Freo once in about R4 in Tassie and i think last year was also only once and in Tassie, just one of those teams we don't get fixtured against all that often.

The only downside for me of favouring a Freo flag is Ross Lyon.

But given the other 2 options at this point, the Dockers will be my preference.

If they lose by 120 though, I wont complain (wont happen I know, but is a nice thought from a Port perspective).

Sydney comfortably,

Too much pressure and expectation from fans remind of Centrals heading into the 95, 96 SANFL grand finals

Sydney are a classy experienced side who will take advantage of any Freo nerves or disciplinary issues

I hope Freo wins though

That was the old Freo, this mob is made of much sterner stuff.
I expect the Dockers to win easily probably by 30-40 points

Torn. Hate Ross Lyon as a coach, but want to see Pav win a premiership in a shining example of loyalty. Go Freo, I think.
