Big games for crows and Brisbane. If they both win it makes the race for 8th and 9th spot who will play finals very close

Michael Walters is a very good player. Son of Michael Walters Snr who the Dogs fans would remember from years ago. A prodigious sporting talent who fell off the rails after making his debut at 16 or 17 for Centrals. I knew the family well and coached Michael as a junior basketballer and he was a star at that game too. Glad to see his lad doing so well in the AFL.

Danyle Pearce trying to rough up the crows before the start of the match. That's funny.

Elbow, head high whilst fending off tackle. Saints' player had to go off. Reverse angle looks bad.

To add injury to insult, it would appear Dawson Simpson could be out for a while in what one can only hope is only a dislocated kneecap.

The great Steven Sims - of Central United fame, not the ex league footballer - told me much the same this summer just gone.

Real shame for Josh Jenkins. That twist of the foot is real nasty and IMHO best case scenario on the evidence is that he may be ready for preseason training.

He deserves his chance. Hopefully as the Crows did last year they will release him for our finals.

An amazing footballer. Kicked 10 on a flank for Salisbury in an A grade GF in 84 (?) as a kid. Was off the rails before his league debut, just fell on the rails long enough to play a game!

Made footy look easy.
