I feel almost honoured that I'll be able to tell my grand kids one day that I was actually at the last game Hawthorn won against Geelong.
I could just imagine it "Come on Grandpa, noone's that old!"

The funny thing is that if the Hawks were to beat Geelong in the grand final, all the chest beating over the last couple of years will mean squat

Yep!!!

Wasnt aware that Masten was part of that deal.
Not a bad trade if so, Kennedy will be an elite forward for many years.
Id suspect both clubs are happy with the trade at the end of the day, Judd has been good at Carlton but he isnt going to be there for their next tilt at a flag

I think Masten was indirectly part of that deal, as he was taken as a result of a draft pick the Eagles got from it.

We got one of best all time mid fielders and brownlow medalist. West coast get the current Coleman leader. Both clubs would be happy with the deal

It was Judd for Kennedy and Pick number 3, in which they used on Masten.

Still though I'd take a premiership win over 10 H & A and a QF loss any day and I'm sure the Cats would too. Just a silly beat up by the media. I hope they get to play each other in the GF this year.

Wait and See is all I can say. I was at last night's game and was very impressed with how Geelong played. Once again the umpiring was V.F.O and the Hawk fans were feathers up talking about breaking the Hoodoo. I would love to for the Cats and Hawks to play off in the Grand Final. IMO how much is Buddy not signing going to affect Hawthorn players and their mindset?? Unlike Gary Ablett the current media seems to be laying off Buddy and where he is going over here it seems. Give it time closer to the finals and lets see if they will go after Buddy.
