Re the Crows' form and preparation, its not going to be as easy for them compared to 2012, given that their pre season was delayed due to playing finals last year.

I would still expect them to make the finals in 2013 though.

Wines very strong and good
Neade good in patches. Layed a great tackle to kick a goal
Dab Stewart took some great strong pack marks

All Melbourne goals have come from Port turnovers

Mitchell was really good that good as was Hartlett.
Magnet had a good quarter for Melbourne while Redden was good around the ground for Port

Broadbent came on and was very very good winning the ball out of the middle
Redden and Lobbe both on and impressive
Aaron Young very prolific as was the Stewart brothers
Mitchell good again

Sellar very strong again for Melbourne

Will be interesting to see whether Sellar can continue any type of form into the season proper.

A pre season game with a bunch of kids in both teams is fairly irrelevant.

Port may have a long season, but that conclusion can't be drawn from a trial match where the result is less than a goal.

Lol I have always wondered whether they were or not. Mitchell good again in the last as was Hartlett.
Very good fitness level for the boys and Burgess looks to have had a huge impact as the way they ran the game out was phenomenal
