Umpires are a mob of white maggots.

Judd should do the right thing and hand back the medal to the AFL and pass it on to someone who actually had some competition in their side

You are kidding, right?

Like Punky said, he was incredibly nervous and got more so as the night wore on. As modest as they come, I reckon Swanny would be glad the night is over so he can get back to concentrating on what he does best.

Couldn't agree more. One of the sillier things I've ever seen on here. Not sure how much of this is based on actual football arguments.

No, he was going home to Melbourne, the place where he grew up. Speaking of growing up........

Um no. I saw an interview with him and footage of him strolling around Melbourne's training ground when he first came back.
"Very excited to be back here in Victoria and with a chance to play for the club I followed as a kid etc....." And then the meeting with Richard Pratt was arranged and......
Again just stating facts.
Being told to grow up by someone from the Sturt Cheer Squad....the irony is killing me ;)

No longer in the Cheer squad big fella and when I was I ran it from a club point of view more then anything.
If you look at the interview when he announced he was leaving he said there are a few clubs I'll be looking at. If you read your quote it says "a chance to play with the club I followed", not that it was a given he was going there. His quote from last night about going home has nothing to do with what was said above.

He was close to winning last year too and will continue to poll well in the future. Another win not out of the question as the blues climb the ladder. An inspirational leader and deserved winner. His humble speech capped off a great night and is an indication of the quality this bloke is. Awesome!!!

x3.

I dislike Carltank but Judd is a great player and in the umpires minds, he was the best player in 2010.

He'll never play in a premiership with them so this gives him something.

It's funny how the same people who cry out that the AFL game has become soft are now hysterical because a bloke wasn't suspended for an ambiguous elbow.

An incident that happened the year before. The penalty was served the following year. Should be eligible as the infringement happened in a completely different season. Now we are being ridiculous. Leave the rules of the medal as they are and the best player wins

So any suspension in the finals series does not affect your Brownlow chances?
