Ben McKinley has asked to leave West Coast to go back to Victoria...Everytime I watch him he looks like he has enormous potential, good size about him and moves well. Maybe being back in his home state will see him prosper...If I was The Dees I'd be looking at him.

Did anyone make a smart comment about Choco being traded to Essendon?

It will help him prosper more by not being surrounded by such spastics as he is at WCoast

Be careful for what you wish for. You'll be lucky to get 30 games out of Tarrant.

talk of a straight trade, Josh Fraser for Chris Tarrant.

with presti probably playing his last game this weekend (if he gets a game!), Taz will make a great replacement down back and give youngsters Ben Reid and Nath Brown another couple years to develop.

Trade week is hilarious each year, just cant understand why clubs can make deals a simple task,Richmond got Mitch Farmer and Port got Jay Schulz which both teams are happy.Listening to John Reid each year,he would make it sound like a game of twister and times that by ten.Just the same as owning a business,if someone wants a cheaper price from me,simply yes or no,dont have to carry on over the few days making life more complicated.

Correct:

Jacobs requests trade

The Carlton Football Club wishes to advise that Sam Jacobs has requested a trade to the Adelaide Crows during the upcoming exchange period.

Jacobs has played 17 AFL matches for Carlton since making his debut in Round 1, 2009. He was recruited to the Club from Androssan via Woodville-West Torrens in the 2007 Rookie Draft.

“While disappointed with Sam’s decision to return back to South Australia, the Club will now commence discussions with the Adelaide Crows to enable a suitable exchange.” Carlton’s General Manager Football Operations Steven Icke said.

Here's a list of who's going where in the off-season, as per the AFL - http://www.afl.com.au/retirements%20%20 ... fault.aspx - they update this list through the entire off-season (at least, they did last year)
But yes, it was a pretty pointless comment wasn't it?!

here is a possible three way trade deal adelaide could try to get Jacobs, walker

Adelaide
Sam Jacobs-Carlton
Andrew Walker-Carlton

Carlton
Ben Mckinley-West coast
young crows player- Young/gunston
Adelaide 2nd round draft pick 32
WCE 2nd round draft pick 27

Eagles
Jonathon Griffin- Adelaide
calton 2nd round draft pick 35

so he is the run down on how it could work

Adelaide- 2nd round draft pick 27
west coast- Jonathon Griffin

Adelaide- Sam jacobs
carlton- will young/jack gunston possible players

Carlton- Ben Mckinley
west coast- carlton 2nd round pick 35

Adelaide- Andrew Walker
carlton- wce 2nd round draft pick 27
adel 2nd round draft pick 32

carlton have said they would like a player when trading Walker and the Ben Mckinley deal would be most unlikely but you never know.

Andrew Walker. Just don't pat him on the back too hard when he joins the club as his shoulder might fall off.

Clanger I must say I highly doubt Adelaide would even get close to securing Walker and Jacobs and only lose a 2nd round draft pick and only one younger player. Especially when there is talk of the Western Bulldogs potentially offering up a player like Hill and Everitt for starters to secure Walker. But you never know...

I'll be interested to see if Neon Leon is moved on next year, potentially for Collingwood to secure Tarrant in some sort of deal with Freo. May be another player who is used in a complicated swap of players and picks.

Carlton have already said no to Hill and Everitt, Carlton need a tall defender, they asked if the crows were willing to trade Talia and the crows said no. i think the crows will get both. it will cost them 2 first round picks and a tall defender, Like Sellar or Young.

and the Bulldogs cant offord to trade picks as well because they have 2 Father sons this year

Will Thursfield has asked to be traded from Richmond!

Leaves our big man department down back even thinner I think!

Carlton could be interested along with the hawks maybe?
