Why thankyou Booney. 8)

Seriously though, I reckon any team would've been troubled by Fremantle Sunday night. They were just having one of those games where everything worked for them.

There were also a few blokes out there to prove a point, not the least Barlow who had been passed over many times and obviously wanted to show the rest of the comp what they had missed out on.

All in all I think we were just unlucky to be the ones to get ambushed in round 1 by these guys, no doubt every other team in the comp has been reviewing the tapes of that game to make sure they don't suffer the same fate.

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Want some feedback from Crow fans on Craig and his repeated use of words like "ownership", "responsibility" and "understanding".

My question is probably more in relation to the words he uses, IMO, may not be reflected in his or the players actions. When he says "We need to take responsibility for our performance", well, that goes without saying.

I think he just pays the fans some lip service during press conferences and doesn't give you much at all.

I'll be interested in others thoughts on this though. Thanks for your feedback.

hahaha Booney i couldnt give you what you wanted straight away ;)

I think we as spectators/supporters dont know the context of what he is saying and im sure the players who he speands hours with daily know what he wants from them and what those words actually mean in context.

What is any coach supposed to say in a 5 minute press conference after a game? He cant go through all the places the zone broke down, who didnt do there job etc etc thats why he generalises and im sure the indivudual players know what responsibility etc etc they must take.

Now we are getting somewhere. If he uses these generalisations with players do you think that could be somewhat confusing for them?

Im trying to establish why he is regarded as such a good coach with a good list who hasn't been able to deliver when it counts over recent seasons.

Is he not specific enough in his delivery of messages? I dont know and Im sure many Crow fans would be thinking more about him.

Truth be told it is only Round 2 but the faithful will only put up with so much.

( This isnt a troll - Im discussing Craig in here because not many Port people on the site makes the Power Board fairly quiet )
