Play on, why do the media have to make an issue of it?

Sydney also sledged Whitfield all day after claiming they wouldn't.

Wow! And there was such outrage & vitriole earlier this year on this forum about PA's medicos' handling of Hartlett after something very similar. ;)

I heard the sledge this morning....initial thoughts were it was not that bad but upon reflection not the right thing to say and Mummy needs to come out and issue an apology IMO.

What is up with people asking/demanding apologies these days? It is absolutely ridiculous....sorry if I offend anybody with my opinion.

No kidding FFS enough is enough. In the heat of a battle a few things are said. Christ I Bet Whitfield cop plenty abut being called a drug runner or something like that. I bet social media has exploded over this now. How many weeks of courses and counciling should we make Munford do?

Can we all just please take a breath and stop demanding appologies for things.

News.com.au has the heading "Vicious Sledge against Buddy"...

You would think Mummy had threatened to do things to his missus or mum, not make a mention of his break last year.

He even did it in somewhat of a humorous way...

The funny part is the article then goes on to say "Franklin missed the Swans’ 2015 finals campaign after taking an extended leave of absence to deal with what the club claimed were issues related to mental health matters"

That's more of a sledge than what Mumford said, IMO. "What the club claimed".....

My wife suffers horribly from anxiety issues... I also suffer mildly from anxiety and depression...

If someone said to me that they were glad i wasnt on holidays, I'd laugh and ask if tht was yhe best he had...

People need to stop being outraged at the most miniscule things...

It's the clickbait articles that are the problem. You can't have an article with a headline Mumford was cheeky to his old teammate and said something that was borderline but buddy didn't seem to have an issue.

Has to be a "brutal sledge"
