I sense a little mummy's boy kinda vibe.
Is that a bit harsh, I dunno?
It was a pretty bad injury and handled pretty poorly by Melbourne.
Imagine if he did pull the pin, last one out switch off the lights.

Hasn't been close to his AA year last year but that's not an easy thing to do. Good signing for them with Darcy as a developing fwd / second ruck.

Hopper and Taranto would be stoked at signing for a club which is now going to gut the list and be near the bottom for 5 years minimum

They joined a club that just had 3 flags in 4 years with the list ageing, you think they didn't know why they were getting the money?

if youve ever had broken ribs, and go back out there and get smashed again, you think f%#k football, it will take 2 years to get past that agony. I wore a guard made of plaster for a couple of seasons

I have had broken ribs and yes it is bloody traumatic. He should never have gone back on and seriously the docs screwed up there.
Plus he had spleen and lung damage as well.

But I just get the feeling he's mentally cooked over this when really he should be around his teammates supporting their efforts.
Not tik tokking on holidays in the Gold Coast.
Dwelling on the injury just makes it worse.

Like a car crash....
It happened, can't change it, move on.
