Don't stress, he's just driving up his price another 50k a season.

Huge Game this Friday night. Some positive signs last week but still plenty of work to do to get that mojo back from the first part of the season.

Hartigan out this week isnt such a bad thing, but we will certainly miss him against the larger size.

IMO 2 changes

OUT
Hartigan (inj) Milera (rest)

IN
Cameron and either of Doedee / Gullucci

Will be a cakewalk forthe crows... my boys are struggling big time and wont get within 7 goals i reckon!

Saying that, i still wanna go and support my boys in their only trip to SA this year so does anyone have tickets they wont be using?

Kyle Hartigan will be sidelined for up to 6 weeks with a hamstring injury.
Tom Lynch will miss at least another week as he recovers from viral meningitis. He will be an ongoing assessment for the weeks ahead.

Hartigan shouldnt be too much of a loss agaisnt the dogs, but I think we will miss lynch if he stays out for long

Interesting times for Adelaide with these two out, I think they're both pretty important to the structure, Hartigans role in that structure is important. When Adelaide have been beaten Hartigan has been drawn up outside of the D50 meaning Smith and Laird have had to take a forward as opposed to being able to float, Hartigan is the deepest defender ( when they're set up as they like ) and he gets the role of dropping over to help out the mid/smalls.

Who plays the link role Lynch normally does? Jenkins gets up there?

Who comes in to play on the big forward/drop off an help the mid/smalls? Talia has been out of sorts, or sides are dragging him away from the contest.

13 tackles, 13 disposals, 9 hit outs and 3 goals for JJ on the weekend, more than handy return for the big fella.

Beech and to a certain extent mcgovern are those players to cover lynch.

Interested to see who they bring in for Hartigan. Doedee would be the obvious one. Otten could be brought in to play defence (yuck) or Cheney (yuck)

They might not bother with an extra tall against the dogs and just run with Jake Kelly on a slightly bigger forward

You're not going to go to the top of the mountain with Beech in the side,he's not up to it IMO.

I really liked his first game, but I have been surprised he has kept his spot since then. I reckon he would have made way for Knight last week but then Lynch was ruled out

Still cant work out why Harrison Wigg doesnt get a run. Mustn't work hard enough defensively, because he racks them up in the SANFL. Surely giving him a look is a better option than MacKay

What's the wash up from all of this?

Littorally speaking, he made his debut in dune so he's probably a bit tide. He'll drift into the side eventually.
