I would be very surprised if they don't get 48-50k.

Mainly as I believe that performance was nothing short of disgraceful, I was deadest not going unless a few bigger names got dropped (Hartlett, Broadbent, Lobbe Etc) but I've cooled down a little and will be there to support.

I also know a couple of lads from Footy aren't going as its the first home game for them at amateur level and there spending the night at the club.

Its also a long weekend and in the construction industry having a fixed 5 day weekend (Sat,Sun,Mon P/H, Tue and Wed RDO's) that also might drag a few away.

Who knows tho time will tell, I'd love 50+ there and a good Power win but I cant see either happening........

Hearing a rumour that Boak knocked off Hartlett's missus at the start of the season.

Generally need to take these sort of rumours with a grain of salt, however both couples have recently separated and Hinkley was on the radio yesterday saying there is nothing wrong with Boak physically. Hartlett looks like he just doesn't care on the field. Also talk that the game he missed there was nothing wrong with his hammy and he simply didn't want to play.

Anyone close to the club know if that's true?

Whilst a few things in that story line up, I highly doubt it wouldn't of come out by now if this were true.

Crowd wont be below 45k imho, and should be closer to 50. Really want to pick Port this weekend because I think they'll respond, but struggling to see where the goals will come from if Dixon is kept in check by Lonergan, Taylor et al, which I suspect will happen.

I know about the rumour in question and it's origin.

I can also confirm from sources very close to the club, that the rumour is 100% false.

Havnt heard that one but there was a rumour Boak hooked up with a fan after the Saints game and his missus has left him now

Don't these rumours fly around every year from a different club every year.? Last year it was Buddy and Tippett.

I call BS on this one too

It seems when a team is struggling its due to players rooting around.

I think BS is a fair call.

The ruck, the ruck, the ruck. Last time the Cats came to town Stanley and Blicavs thrashed Lobbe. Now we have Zac Smith as well with Blicavs hopefully running about the field creating havoc. We will be responding too after a pretty crap performance against Essendon. At least I hope we do.
