Was surprised Port might want to trade a Brownlow medallist.

Looked it up and a fair few Brownlow medalists have been traded after winning the medal

-Tom Mitchell
-Gary Ablett
-Adam Cooney
-Ben Cousins
-Chris Judd
-Jason Akermanis
-Gavin Wanganeen
-Greg Williams
-Tony Lockett

Traded or left? I don’t think the club had an option with most of those.

I heard thru a power mate that Wines was furious after his end of year exit interview.

There was no way on God's green earth that Wanganeen was traded by Essendon. Absolutely no way did the club want to lose him

I too heard that, my original quote was from the day he had his exit interview. Came from someone close to him.

Imagine being the best in the league at the position you play, then being moved away from that position. Not surprised.

Wines to Geelong has been around for a few weeks. Add in 2 selections and you get Esava at a bargain price
