I'll never need to worry. The Crows have failed every major test for two decades. Pyke makes even Scott seem flexible. I reckon Simpson and Doc will have a picnic this week as they set up loose and Pyke scratches his head.

I also read that apparently Rockliff is going to the Crows next year too

Rocky is certainly more likely than dusty!

Can't see Dusty going anywhere, going to take $1.2m a year minimum to get him out of Richmond and potentially a couple of decent picks.
Rockliff as a FA is definitely a easier option although with his partner due to give birth in September they may be reluctant to pull up stumps and move from Brisbane

Dusty is a FA as well though? Why is it costing picks? You're right on the call that I think he will stay at Richmond though..

Isn't there a stat that once any uncontracted player get to July and hasn't signed there is only a 5% success rate of them re-signing with their current club?

Dusty is a RFA.
Richmond know they will only get a first rounder compo for him so they will match and have stated numerous times that they have enough cash to match which would force a trade.
The Crows would either have to offer a amount Richmond won't match which is probably $1.2m plus or trade

I think this years CBA talks dragging on will play a factor in players holding off contract talks until beyond that date.. But yes, the only player that really springs to mind to get to the end of the year uncontracted and then sign on was Trav Cloke when he signed his last contract at Collingwood, back when he was at his peak.. Most players I reckon if they haven't signed on by seasons end, its all but good bye..

I was confident Lever would stay until I heard the excerpts of that 5AA interview. He really just rolled out the media training lines, which always concerns me. Im hopeful he will sign on. If not I think we will have to start the search for our next captain, cos I had Lever ear marked to take over from Tex in a few years..

Yeh Richmond obviously have the choice to match, and it would be interesting if they matched a bid which was higher than what they were offering him. Would it make Dusty think why didn't you just offer me that in the first place?

But all in all I don't think Dusty is leaving and I certainly don't think if he did it would be to the Crows

Yeah, I don't think the ruffles too many feathers. I'd say he'd like to think he does, but he doesn't come across as someone sides would be looking around for.

The Crows aren't going anywhere near Dusty, and vice versa.

Is he pretty good mates with Danger? We need a key defender to replace Tommy Lonergan next year. That would be nice
