My Dad, born and bred in the Port, his first money making venture as a 12 year old was catching and skinning rabbits on the swamp that is now West Lakes. He'd trap them, take them home and skin them then on his rounds selling the paper in the pubs in the Port and he'd sell his rabbits on the side.
Back then kids weren't allowed in the pubs so he'd stick his head in the door, yell out "come and get your paper" and when the unsuspecting punters made their way out he'd offer them some fresh rabbit to go. Reckons he never went home with left overs.

Over the period of 9 months sure, but it's not like he would've dedicated all his time to it or even anywhere near half his time - would've just been a bit here and there at a guess.

I wonder if the money spent on flying him back and forth from China gets included when Port speak about the profits made from this venture.

come on whufc, thats a pretty long bow to draw
as if he spent 9 months full time on this.
would have just gone to check out a few hotels and then make sure of the food quality. as high performance manager or whatever he is, surely thats expected?

Sure he did - needs to plan training and conditioning workload leading into game, recovery after, timeframes etc. and obviously nutrition side of things.
