Hawks not without a chance of making the 8, only need one upset really, Essendon losing a game the biggest hurdle all the rest just needing the highest placed team to win the games. If we were to make it, Sydney the likely opponent, 6 other clubs would be pretty happy if we did and continued our dominance over them, especially in Sydney.

Equation
Hawks win both (Carlton and Bulldogs}
West Coast lose 2, GWS A, Crows H
Bulldogs lose 2, Port in Ballarat, us
Essendon lose 1, either Suns @ Metricon or Freo H
St Kilda lose 1, either Roos H or Richmond A
