Bucks got that bit wrong but he stuck up for his man and focused an angry crowd back on to the ANZACs. I thought it was an excellent speech.

You post a lot of great stuff and normally spot on, but you will look back at this post and be ashamed of yourself!

That was disgraceful by Essendon supporters to boo in that instance, sure they were pi55ed off with the umpiring, but that has nothing to do with a champion like Pendlebury.

Thought Buckley handled it brilliantly and was spot on.

There’s been plenty of crap games too.

MCG, 90k, two traditional rivals, that’s ANZAC Day!

Carlton v Richmond would get 90k and are traditional rivals.

No ones stopping them playing on ANZAC Day, they just can’t use the MCG or play Collingwood or us

No I won’t regret it.

Like most im not a Collingwood lover but geez they have a lot of very watchable footballers at the moment.

As a neutral ill make a case they are one of the top 3 most entertaining sides to watch in the AFL at the moment.

I'm still trying to work out why the ever classy bombers were booing pendles.

Easily bog. Yes the umpiring was a disgrace but hey he wasn't the umpire.

This whole Booing thing is ridiculous. Why should this topic become the talking point, and not the game itself?

I was at the G on Monday and heard the boo's for Ablett. I didn't boo, why would you? I was alos at the game the last time we played the Cats, and IMO, the booing of Ablett started after he milked a free....... gee wizz he's not the first bloke to do that.... and its continued from there.

I understand the Bombers fans disappointment, if you are unhappy with the way the game turned out, just leave, don't boo the bloke who wins the BOG award. The umpiring decisions are not his fault.

Ok - the game. Only saw bits in replay, and heard the final moments on the radio, sounded like a cracking game.

Yeah, that's how I saw it too, a continuation of the general unrest and were booing Collingwood, not specifically Pendlebury.

Watching on the TV, the atmosphere at the end actually sounded really scary, and what sort of trouble there would have been afterwards and even, god forbid, whether we'll ever get to the stage of opposition fans leaving in different stages,
