Bullshit.

I love the rule.
Players tapping it through is one of the weakest things and a blight on the game. I'd like to see them pay it every time

But they won't - they'll pay it every 3 weeks

I guess every one sided article must be true.

"Boyd slotted the penalty kick" just reeks of knowledge.

Even though that was a good game last night I think in years gone by Sydney would have won that game. Look a bit slow at times. They look in a bit of trouble to me... Not big trouble but worrying signs that they can't keep up with some of the energy other teams are dishing up to them. In the past Hawthorn, Sydney and Geelong have controlled games and are clinical. It looks the top teams now are just continually rolling the dice and it's high risk for high reward and the intensity is insane. Great to watch! They can also fall flat on their face. Seems early on a couple of fancied options aren't coping with the game style change.

I thought several of Sydney's younger players showed plenty - Whether they'll be able to deliver it all season long, or when it most matters is a big ask, but I see no reason why they shouldn't be thereabouts going forward for quite a while.

No comments yet? The 2017 premiers must be getting flogged ;)

Early days, not sure we can sustain it, but its looking like the Hawks of old. Intensity is back, skills are up but plenty of improving to go. Amazing you dont look slow if you hit targets. As i said last week the Essendon game meant more to them than us, they rode the emotional high.

Jenkins off to hospital with suspected broken ribs or punctured lung.
Crows came back hard that quarter but missed too many getable goals

Everyone just needs to accept that Hawthorn, Western Bulldogs & West Coast invariably get looked after by the umpires, week in week out.
