Talk on the national game

"Geelong has posted a 107-39-1 record under Scott, a 73 per cent success rate. Scott’s winning percentage is the highest in the history of the league for any coach that has been at the helm for at least 100 games."

And he's with us until the end of the 2019 season at least, which is brilliant news.

Dangerfield looked very disinterested yesterday. Was really disappointed with his effort, we really needed him to stand up with Selwood being tagged out of the game.

It's good to see that Duncan is stepping up this year, just need a few more to do so too.

Danger hasnt been his normal self since he copped that whack in the Hawthorn game, I suspect it did some damage.

He's allowed a down game for sure but just didn't look like he wanted to be out there just walking around not showing much interest

I bet Collingwood are stoked as well. 2-6 against Buckley! Surely someone should go to Pendlebury.

I was really impressed with the Cats on Friday. They really had a different mindset in this game, it was a like different team that played the bombers last week . The tackling pressure was amazing. I really hope they can keep this up as it will put our season back on track.

I've never been a fan of the Harry Taylor experiment, still don't think I am but it was good to see him kick a bag and get the confidence up.

Also good to have Dangerwood back at their finest, just awesome to watch when they are both firing.

Should be interesting against Port this Thursday, don't really know how the bye or travel to China will have affected them.

They were always going to get up for the new stadium launch, and after losing 3 games.
The key will be if they can back it up after the effort of having 130 tackles against the bulldogs, coming up against a rested Port who are smashing teams

Oh shit sorry mate, calling someone a Port supporter like that is appalling. I completely apologize for that. ;)

Cats very hard to beat in Geelong. We'll do pretty well from now on in don't you worry about that. 8 games in a row away from home for 5 wins is ok. We can only get better now we finally start playing a few games at home.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

They do OK at Kardinia Park in case you haven't noticed. Having a few games there from now on is only going to help us.

We don't lose to Port either. Only one loss since 119.

Sadly.

Only 1 win at Kardinia in 10 years, and on the 10 year anniversary of the aforementioned massacre, Port will need to produce something special to win on Thursday night.
