Hodge and Lewis started the quarter on the bench. Clarko mustn't like violent acts

Should be booing there own players for being soft. They dont like the physical stuff, half of that side would sleep with the lights on!
Hodge and Lewis will get games but I cant believe the North players didnt seek retribution or flew the flag.
Cant believe everyone picked them top 4, aslong as F graders like Nahas and Higgins are playing they are going nowhere

Hodge one at most
Lewis 2
Both saved by minimal impact
Those calling for 4+ for Lewis need to wake up, It was no where near as bad as Vickery's hit on Cox last year and didnt he only get 4?

Lucky we play Giants and Melbourne in the next 2 weeks, they could both do with a rest anyway to freshen up, not getting any younger

Lewis's hit much worse than Vickery's IMHO.
Ruck contest with arms swinging when you're expecting contact as opposed to eyes solely on a ball with a bloke roundhouse swinging at you on the run which you're not aware of completely different.
If Vickery got 4 then Lewis should get 8.

I copped hits like Vickery's every week in ruck, I usually didn't get a free for it! Only copped one whack similar to Lewis's and it hurt a lot more!

Not sure how the suspensions goes these days or Lewis's past record.
It was intentional, it was severe contact and it was in the head
Vickery's was negligent or reckless at the worst but completely different incidents, surely we can compare something closer?

Vickerys was a round house for 4 weeks, Yarrens was flush on the chin for 3 weeks both far worse than Lewis IMO and the fact Goldstein played on for mine Lewis 3 down to 2 and Hodge 2 down 1 with early Guilty pleas

8 weeks! You have to be kidding me? He didn't kill him.....

I said 4-6, but said if comparing it to Vickory's doubly worse! Vickory's about 2 IMHO, happened every week to me with no frees paid usually.

Nothing worse than doing this to a bloke not expecting it and looking at the ball with the momentum of a run up and swinging arm. He's lucky someone wasn't killed! Dog act, anyone who does this sort of thing should be in jail.

Unfortunately that is the AFL's stupid decision. Saints are the home team so wear their normal strip. Away team has to wear white shorts
