One charge laid.

Hawthorn's Luke Hodge can accept a reprimand for rough conduct on Carlton's Lachie Henderson.
All other incidents cleared.

Looks like the MRP has applied the 'superstar' clause to their assessment of that incident.

No it's completely consistent. Duryea, Franklin, Hodge no case to answer Betts, Kelly, Ziebell all go.

Bout time something went our way after the crap last year of Sydney getting extra days break after finishing 3rd for the G/F followed by this years horror draw also compared to Sydney who's campaign didnt start until rd 3.
Hodgey should get off tonight too, was only avoiding Roughy, nothing else he could do

The thing is you didnt earn the right to the extra day, we did.
How a billion dollar industry is dictated to by the availability of an oval in a state that doesnt care about AFL is a disgrace. Syney should have played at SCG on saturday night
Reverse the prelims = reverse the G/F result. Sydney had more run in the last 5-10mins

bollocks... your loss had nothing to do with the fact you stuffed up several chances in front of goal or the pressure sydney applied was to great for your front runners to handle???? 100+ tackles. we played less then 24 hours apart.... good sides find ways to win, not make excuses!!!

this may be the most pathetic excuse i have ever heard. you have to be taking the piss??? i have a fair few hawks mates and i've never heard this feeble excuse..

What about 2008 when Geelong had the "extra day's break"?

seeing as though Port played the day after Geelong in 2007 does that mean we now have a valid excuse? ;)
