Of the 4 sides who could finish 9th the Crows probably have the best run home.

WC - 36 points play Geelong, Collingwood and Crows
Carlton - 36 points play Tigers, Bombers and Power
NM - 32 points play Bombers, Hawk and Collingwood
Crows -32 points play WB, Melb and WC

That 9th spot is very interesting if Bombers lose their points could go to any of them. IMO won't make much difference, pretty tough to do anything finishing outside the top 4 let alone the top 8 and be given a spot by default.

All that 8th spot would do would mean playing sydney/ collingwood in the first week of finals, getting smashed because none of the four teams in contention have shown any form this year to win a hard game and give you a harder draw for next year. I hope the crows win there remaining games by all means but finishing 9th would almost be a disaster.

If West coast beat Collingwood in 2 weeks time, Collingwood wouldn't want to play us first week of the finals. Wouldn't say Collingwood have been all that consistent this year.

The crows still need to win all 3. Lose to the Eagles and the coasters may hop in on %.

Would give the dogs a chance against the crows this week too- their form has been pretty good of late.
