Two of my mates got photos with God after the game.

I'm just a little bit jealous.

I was neutral. At 3/4 time, I was half hoping Port would go on and smash them. This just makes Adelaide's loss last week look even more worse now.

Yes - that's what I was reminding my husband when he asked for all our power supporter friends phone numbers....lol.

the best game of footy i have seen in awhile. just imagine how much money you would have won backing the suns.

someone had to be the first victim and all the rest of the teams should be thanking port. port just keep making history :D

Speak for yourself. I turned over and watched the last quarter after watching the Real Footy on ABC. Saw a decidedly mediocre and lacklustre team (Port) get overrun by a team which was simply crap (GC), but at least had a crack. Umpires were cabbage, and IMO favoured Gold Coast. Were it not for the closeness of the eventual margin, and the significance of the result, it would have been a poor advertisement for the game. Little wonder the local fans are deserting this league in droves.

He was brilliant,

the sign of a true champion,

loved his celebration when he kicked a goal in the third which brought us back to within 20 points, was a sign that the captain still believed.

All would have been so different if that last kick was straight, luckily for the Suns it was Just Hoff :D

true but if they lose by a kick then its a win without the 4 points

its great for them that they have won their first ever game away from home

never gave the suns a chance whilst watching it, even in the last qtr when they got to within 9 points always thought port would get one, had a family bbq and all of us bar one were cheering for the suns.

mind you after the suns hit the front they allowed thomas (i think) to get the ball from the centre and run out to the wing and dispose of it with no pressure at all, i thought the suns may have lost it there.

the suns really did look like they controlled the last qtr in terms of disposals etc

Yep totally agree, wasnt until the ball left Westoffs boot that i thought we would win.

Always thought Port would go down and kick a cheap goal to either extend the lead or win the game.

Was the same feeling as watching and team when you think they have forgot 'how' to win.

Well it was like watching a grand final in this house - so much yelling and cheering

Well done Gold Coast :-bd

I was down in the North Adelaide club rooms post the SANFL game...

The game was on the big screen in there and I couldn't believe the scene in there...

There was screaming and jumping out of chairs, high 5's, clapping etc etc...

Was a different experience but one I enjoyed nonetheless...

Mate it was a good thing Westhoff did not kick that goal. Seriously it would have made things pretty damn interesting. Well done to the gold coast boys. Seriously How good was Ablett and rischitelli. Port would kill for players of that caliber! They just could not match them when they got going.
