I find it interesting McEvoy is not named, given the miss last year. I reckon he's a chance to come in.
But also, he was speaking to the media earlier this week about his experience of missing last year.
Why would the Saints put him up for that if he wasn't going to play??? Almost cruel.

That injury to Kosi makes things interesting.
He is gonna be hurting. A big mental challenge too, to play knowing you have severely shagged ribs and will be in pain for the next few weeks.
Of course, that will all wash away if they win the flag.
A gutsy effort but can he cope with the mental aspect?

I've played with broken ribs and their are certain methods to ensure 2hrs of pain free, but mentally yes it will affect Kosi as he plays hard.

one ruckmen against Jolly, albeit in Gardiner surely the sainters could use Mcevoy to exploit collingwood in the ruck dept as Jolly cant do it all day long

Not so sure about the Baker inclusion. The bloke has a heart the size of Phar Lap, but match fitness is going to be a big problem. If there's one team you don't want to be bringining in underdone players, it's Colingwood. I don't think he'll play but we'll wait and see.

well i dished out $3.50 for the saints on wed night, just thought collingwood best team all year, were fairly comprehensive last week. the saints battled for 2 1/2 qtrs against a side who I dont rate at all.

didnt expect malthouse to go all soft in GF week. I hope for his sake Davis kicks 7 and wins the norm smith.

like most i'm not sure about Davis, too hot and cold, if he fires and they win it'll be coaching genius, if he spuds it up and they lose it'll be 'You Idiot Mick...'

Presti makes sense IMO, I keep thinking in SC terms he's a dud, but he he gets the job done and if he takes Kosi i reckon there'll be no worries there...

Kosi, NDS and Gram all under 100% will hurt them.

Baker will go to Ball i reckon and give him nothing all day, could see a similar scene to that of Baker Vs S. Johnson... it'll make it interesting at least!

C'wood have been the best team in the second half of the year by far. However their innacurate kicking on many occasions has often meant that the scoreboard has looked respectable even tho the pies had been the far superior team on most occasions. As we saw last week tho if they are kicking straight they are near impossible to beat.

At the start of the week i thought the Saints were a red hot chance as they will do everything they can to keep the game a scrap and maybe try and pinch it like they did when these 2 teams met early on in the year. But the sore bodies of Kosi, Nicky Dal & Gram and the unknown of how baker will handle his first game in 10 or so weeks makes me think that the pies will run away with it in the end.
