I highly doubt it.

Fev can yap as much as he wants and he can stack his Colemans sky high if he wants but Chad's Premiership Medallion will still be worth much much more.....

Fair point but it will take a brave man to say Fevola won't have 1 in the next five years.

And at least Fev has a personality to fall back on after football.

Sure, why not. Fevola will never play in a Premiership team. There you go.

Notjing personal as I dislike all wankers with no personality. I'm sure he wouldn't take it personally just like I wouldn't take offence if he disliked all sensible people with a personality.
:)

PS Kane appears to have taken after his mum so he appears OK.

How could he take offence, you have only said he is a wanker with no personality, how could he take that personally?

Exactly, its probably one of the nicer things he's heard about himself!

Get over it Booney, every club has a wanker or two playing for them at one stage or another, Geelong had Jacko and Sam Newman! Mind you at least those 2 had a personality! ;)

I have nothing to get over, thanks anyway.

Im also fully aware every club has someone you could term a wanker playing for them, I just love how much everyone other than Port fans hate Chad. More often than not its the best players that get hated.

Its not just "other than Port fans", most Port fans I know think he's a knob too, being one of the best players has nothing to do with it, I'd put Kane in the same bracket of good players and I think he's a great guy! Chad's just a Daddys boy, ie a knob, he can't help it, its just the way he is. Tredrea's also a knob, but Motlop's a really nice guy. It varies on the person, nothing to do with their football ability. :D
It's not just Port, Milne's a knob too! :D

Here's a positive for ya Boonster, Tom Logan and Daniel Stewart from the Power's list are taking my daughters class for a couple of classes a week, they reckon they're great especially Daniel Stewart. I haven't quite got my daughter built up with enough confidence to ask him why he's called "snorkel" at North but I'm working on it! ;)

Exactly, i personally cannot stand "the Chad" he is an arrogant pr*ck...... but from what i have heard from a few young port boys is that he is first to call them and go for a pub meal etc which suprised me as i would have suspected you would have to be pretty lucky to be in the presence of "spuddley"

Yep , that's a fair call, Ive met many players who many perceived as knobs who were good blokes off the field when I met them including Wayne Carey, Robbie Muir, Josh Francou and Chris Gowans. I met Warwick Capper once too, THAT was an experience, he was EXACTLY as you'd imagine him!

Good point FT, unless you have met the bloke or know a kid who is having them at their school it is pretty hard to comment on someone so definitively, IMO.

Oh come on Booney, its a part of Australian folklore to call someone a wanker or knob without meeting them, what you propose is UNAUSTRALIAN!!! ;)

Well this seems to be the appropriate thread.

Geelong are GONE. We can't win the premiership. Too many of our players are not fit or in the stands. However there are a couple of other factors which are more alarming to this Cat fan.

TURNOVERS: Disgraceful again. In the commentary last night Bruce McAvaney came up with the comment that it was 'unGeelong like'. I would suggest he hasn't been watching us play for the last six weeks becuase unfortunately turnovers from (last night's culprits) Gary Ablett, David Johsnon, Andrew Mackie, David Wojinski and Jimmy Bartel have become all too Geelong like. We are currently less skilled than not only the Bulldogs (who earlier this season had one of the poorest kicking effieiceny records in the AFL) but Collingwood, St Kilda and Carlton as well. For a team as experienced as ours that is a disgrace.

GAMEPLAN: Our gameplan WILL NOT WORK with the current revolving door selection situation. It works fine when everyone is on deck but the current gameplan falls apart badly when blokes like Gamble, Tenace, Gilles, Hogan come into the side and aren't as familiar with the habits of their team mates. Unfortunately, we are stuck with a lame duck coach who despite glimpses this season has consistently failed to come up with a plan B. After waiting so long for the Cats to finally win a premiership I always thought I would revere our flag winning coach but it would be a damming indictment on his 'abilities' if he was to walk away from Cat Park with one flag.

There were a few positives last night: Blake put his hand up, Mooney and Hawkins kicked a few goals and Maxy Rooke made a solid return but SJ and Chapman are lame and our captain is finished. With the Ashes looking gone as well I am currently one unhappy camper!

regards,

REB
