I think it's just Caroline Wilson latching onto some material to fill her column (the original speculation was in the Age today).

I think he's no more or less of a chance of leaving than anyone else on the Adelaide list. In fact, I think the Gold Coast have plenty of promising key forwards on their list and would be mad to compromise their development for a key forward who hasn't exactly set the world alight in the last couple of years.

Kurt will stay IMO.

I don't think so. GC would still have plenty of salary cap money to play with, and big forwards who can take a contested mark aren't falling out of trees.

I can see them playing finals within 3 years and pushing for a GF spot within 4-5, sorry but cant see the Crows doing that and maybe thats what the big fella is thinking aswell

Perhaps he was just waiting to see what sort of squad the GC assembled in the first year or two and could then decide to jump across to a young team on the rise?

If this turns out to be true Adelaide will have major egg-on-face. Sign a bloke to a huge deal to keep him for two year when you know at the end his intention is to move anyway.
