I am so happy this has just happened. I know what i will be doing my next marketing assignment on :D
what a brilliant time to release the new eblem. it is pretty much a new club in the afl from now on in, but with a magnificent history.

The Roos have gone to a similar "old style" shield/badge design, things going a full circle?

PS i like the new logo

not new club. i meant a "fresh start" and a massive jump forward. i think it is very well done by the demons heirachy.

I agree.

The traditional style is good but there's too many things tacked onto it.

That motif above the 'M' on the word Melbourne looks like something you'd see on the livery of an Asian airline.

I've always wondered why VFL/AFL clubs (besides STK) have been reluctant to put
a club emblem on their uniform, considering virtually every other sporting club in the world does this.
Geelong & Collingwood have them now and Melbourne had one 3 or four years ago.
But other than that, diddley.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.
