True, but Carlton do have the Thursday night game. Perhaps they requested as close to an even fortnight break as possible?

Normally that would be the case, but the Crows have decided to stay the night in Melbourne. For some reason they were contemplating starting the game at 2:30pm Friday afternoon so the Crows could make it a day trip.

As dumb as this timeslot is the AFL have been playing Visy Park trial matches mid Friday arvo for yonks!
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10
