Never off the field always clogging up opposition forward/backlines and a mouth bigger than the Grand Canyon.

John Barnes was 100 times worse when he was a runner at the Bombers.

You are right though Booney, all other teams would of employed him in a heartbeat.

Arny showed more heart on the field than most of those Powderpuff players - and he never hoisted the white flag like them.

I'm actually disappointed he's been given the bullet - now i'll never get to see an opposition player give him a well-deserved shirtfront :)

Intersting little piece in the Sunday Mail on him today,

What i found interesting was his comment on who he thought was the real Port Adelaide, without having the article hear he basically said, was that the Magpies moved into the AFL and became the power, the current Port Adelaide Magpies are a new club and that one day he hoped the all agree to just become the one Port Adeladie Power.

I didn't say there was anything wrong, but reading into his comments i found interesting that he would be happy for the Port Adelaide Magpies to die as a club.

I'm no Arnfield fan, but I find it a perfectly natural comment for a true Port person. It shows his love for the club.

Did he actually say "he would be happy for the Port Adelaide Magpies to die as a club"? Maybe he does mean that, but he hasn't actually said it. It's you who said it.

I doubt that's what he means. To him and many Port people, the PAFC from the SANFL pre 1997 now plays in the AFL and is very much alive. To many non-Port people and some Port people, the current PAM are the old PAFC from the SANFL. I think which side of that debate you sit on would drive how you interpret his comments.
