Adelaide has delisted five players from the 2009 primary list.

They are Robert Shirley, Nick Gill, Greg Gallman, Aaron Kite and Tom Lee.

they were the players that everyone thought, except for maybe Tommy Lee

Tom Lee, only one year ?

What was the story with him leaving ? Aren't newbies meant to get 2 years minimum ?

David Wildy rang John Reid during the 5AA show tonight and apparently Reidy was pretty open in his comments. He said Lee was "immature" as a footy player and couldn't get the hang of training, game plans, etc. He then said that drafting him at pick 60 was probably a mistake in hindsight.

Sounds like he was never going to make it so they simply cut their losses on him.

Wow, thanks for that. Must have really disappointed everyone with his attitude and commitment towards developing as an AFL player.
