Potential Father/Sons??

Postby Gingernuts » Wed Sep 30, 2009 11:00 am

Hey folks,

Several Vic teams have done very well out of father-son picks in recent times, Geelong the most obvious beneficiary in the last few years.

Adelaide has been around for nearly 20 years now, are there any potential father/son picks in the pipeline? I vaguely recall a couple of Jarmans kicking about? Edwards has 3 boys as well I think?

Under the initial system I think there was only two players that qualified fullstop regardless of whether they had sons or not and remember being at Sussex Hotel a few years ago and was told "Crows will definitely take Jesse Aish as a Father/Son".

A far cry from the Brisbane Bears getting Steve Lawrence under father son 'cos his old man sat on bench for Southport in QAFL as a fifty year old for one game to qualify him.
