Brett Kirk interview with Mike Sheehan

Postby dedja » Tue Sep 01, 2009 2:51 pm

Anyone else see the Brett Kirk interview with Mike Sheehan after On The Couch on Fox last night.

He is a very switched on and impressive individual ... IMO he will be snaffled up very quickly into a coaching career when his playing days are over.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Either that, or he will become the leader of a cult. Na, just joking. Yeah, I agree.

Saw part of it, and came away with the same impression of Kirky as you did (truth be told it didn't differ to the opinion I had of him prior to the interview), very impressive bloke.

You can just tell with Johnno that he is just a really top bloke. He is always happy. Did you notice nobody asked him any tough questions either, because they just like the guy too much.

Anyone notice how they only talk about the Victorian sides on the couch. Crows get a minor mention now and then because Gerard rates us, then back to Collingwood we go.....

That doesn't bother me one little bit. I hear enough about the Cows and Power in the media as it is.

Sorry, can't agree ... Crows (and Port) seem to get enough air time considering they are only one team out of 16.

Bad time of the year to be taking notice now, but over the year I think all sides outside Vic get very little air time. The show should only go to Vic IMHO....

Easy fix, just don't watch it!

By the way, what does it have to do with Brett Kirk or Mike Sheehan anyway? ;)
