The Moo Cows looked very good after 15 mins into the first term. What on earth is happening with Carlton, I ask the question?
I mean they have plenty go great young players, they had 2 ruckmen that dominated the rucks, they got there hand to the ball first majority of the time, but why could the Midfield of Judd, Murphy, Walker, Gibbs and Stevens not destroy them with clearances?

Anyway Carlton will now what to go to the Gabba to play Brisbane.

Well donw the to crows, and very good performance.

The Crows onballers and part-time onballers stacked up well..
AFC website wrote:Best for Adelaide: Vince, McLeod, Knights, Johncock, Symes, Maric, Thompson, Porplyzia
After being beaten to the ball early in the game, Bernie Vince (34 possessions and three goals), Andrew McLeod (31), Tyson Edwards (24) and Scott Thompson (28) got busy in the engine room to send the ball into attack time and again.

Symes had 27 possessions, took 6 marks, applied 4 tackles, and kicked a nice goal. [Oh, and 2 hit outs.]

Adelaide kicked the highest score over the entire comp all year. A great result for a club with 2 main forwards returning from massive injuries, and young hopefuls just starting their careers. Also Sellars game continues to improve with every match, I'm certainly eating my words and well done to the club for perserveering with him.

didnt wanna start up a new thread for this, but for what it's worth.......

i think maric done real well last night. i've always considered him to maybe be a bit soft (maybe unfairly, as i hanvt seen much of him, but what i have sen i havnt been impressed by)

i'm not sure of his stats but i recall him being involved in a few contests around the ground and he held up pretty well. still pretty raw but with Ladey coming across, he'll sort that out! ;)

Maric is and never has been soft. Never.

His last 4-5 weeks (bar the Pies game) have been the best stretch of his career. Playing with confidence.

WTF ??? Maric may be a lot of things, but soft ain't one of them !!!

Someone i spoke to on Saturday night was bagging the sh!t out of Sellar - very unfair IMO, i think he is going ok. He definately has more go in him than Griffin. We have 2 ruckman at the moment, who can get the job done on most occasions. Neither of them are a Rehn or Cox by any means but they are doing what is required, and more at times.

Stick with 'em !

Although he doesn't seem to win alot of clean taps in the middle, Sellar competes quite well and actually offers some mobility around the ground which we have lacked from a ruckman in a fair while, and definitely something Griffin doesn't offer. I'm comfortable with him playing and he is growing each week with confidence.
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Sheesh. Carlton were lazy on the turnover once again. Crows ran riot through the midfield and were allowed to get it down forward quickly which will always be a problem when you have the likes of Tippett and Porpz down there. Carlton need to get better at running defesively during the off season as at the moment we could be descibed as the biggest downhill skiers in the comp, behind the Power of course though ;)

this maybe where i formed my opinon of him, as being a collingwood supporter, i would have watched this game closer and paid more attention to who was/wasn't getting the job done. and i know collingwoods camo wood was definetly the better ruckman on the field that night.

and as i said, i may have unfairly labelled him in the little game time i had seen him play, but it was just my first impression. and judging by everones feedback on my original comments, my opinon of his game on saturday is probably a closer reflection of what the adelaide faithful think of him.
