How is it that the match of the round, a game where 2 teams are fighting for a spot in the 8 Bombers v Hawks is not on TV.
Just also noticed in the paper it's not even getting radio coverage.
I can understand that the Cats v Dockers game was more than likely booked in at the the start of the season, could the AFL have changed this or don't they have the power to do this.

Hawks would be a good chance to bring in a player from outside their 22 for this game.
Does it still cop the fine given the appeals situation I wonder?
Both Dew and Williams have been named for Box Hill this weekend who play on Sunday, and even not fully fit thay would have to be better options than bringing say Taylor into the side and relying on Dowler, Rioli and midfielders to kick goals. Especially Dew ? are we going to let him play out his days for HFC with Box Hill?

Has anyone else found it interesting that the Adelaide media has been going on about the club suspension imposed by Carlton being given to 'KEY' players for us. Cloke couldn't get back into the side until there was an injury to Hampson and even then he was only picked because Jacobs wasn't ready to come back yet.
Garlett has played about 6 or 7 games and Eddie has been struggling with injury (although he hasn't missed any games) for about 6 weeks, though you would call him a key player at full flight.
Talking it up to boost the confidence of Adelaide players/supporters maybe?

Nah, just playing to the crowd to sell more papers. Gotta fill a 'footy liftout' in a 2 team town somehow I guess. I did find it quite amusing though Voice, even on the news last night. Judd, Murphy and Fevola are key players, not these blokes.

Yes, the words "Key" and "Star" get thrown around far too easily by the Adelaide media.

Should my diggity Dogs get up this week against the Pies by enough to leap frog them into 3rd spot and therefore play Geelong do you reckon that they would then be good enough to play on the last day in September?

they've lost to Geelong by 2pts, last kick of the day then beaten them by 8 and lost to the Pies by 1pt and play them on Sunday. St. Kilda smashed us but that was rd 6 and they were exquisite and they seem to be off the boil atm...

Very Very keen for some September action this year, exciting to be on the Dogs this year...

also i'm gonna be in Melbourne next weekend for the first final, if we play Geelong it will be at Skilled Stadium yeah?
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Erased Round 17 from the memory? ;) If the positions stay as they are, it'll will make for a cracking couple of matches.
