Ben Cousins Return

Postby hearts on fire » Tue Jul 14, 2009 8:13 pm

what do you think of Ben Cousin's 2009 season?

Personally, i thought after he missed the first few games, Richmond were gonna struggle to get value out of him. Since returning from injury, Cousins has given Richmond good value.

Overall, i think Cousins has had an average season.

I think he's had a good season considering where I felt he was really at. He hasn't matched the hype of some fans who expected Cousins V2005 to come out in 2009. It wasn't a realist expectation at his age but, all things considered, I feel he's added value to the team and should go on next season.

He was absolutely super on the weekend.

Agree with you Hondo, was never going to come out and dominate but has certainly shown enough to go on next year IMO and certainly has been better than a few people on this site thought he would be.

good on ya cuz.. IMO he has had a year which was to be expected.. as pup said he was at his best on the weekend.. just a shame he didnt go to a club that could win a flag in the next 2 years, so he could really stick up some people ;)

He is slowly getting back to his best but is a stretch better than any other Richmond player. Lol. Rated his season good. Apart from injury, is one Tiger that has been consistent in his efforts.

He's been good and has shown glimpses of what a superstar he is. He will be better next year for having had this season then a full pre season. Richmond would be absolutely insane to get rid of him but then again it is Richmond. The guy is only 30 and still has a heap to offer.
