Swooper you have no Idea, everyone plays a bad game, and he is still contracted next year, did you see the crows vs Collingwood game

No I didnt. I have only seen the crows this year vs St Kilda and Geelong and in both those games to me he looked all out of sorts. From memory i dont think he finished last season off all that strongly either?

i think that he will finish out his contract and then look at finishing up on what has been a stellar career and will finish off the next 18 months the same way ;)

I suspect you're right about McLeod in general Swooper, although I can't be certain, but will watch with intereest for the remainder of the season.

McLeod dominated the Round 1 game, 3 Brownlow votes for sure I reckon, but to a large degree he was allowed to dominate because Collingwood didn't check him closely (and people seemed to overlook the fact his direct opponent kicked 3 goals on him).

I can't see him being allowed that sort of freedom again and as Swooper said, I thought he slowed down mid-late last year - Doubt he wouldn't go around for the Crows again next year, but whether he should isn't a fait accompli imo.

As great as he's been (and will no doubt pull out a performance of note now Im saying this), I reckon Brad Johnson has played a season too many .. It pains me to see him diving like a swan and flailing his arms about trying to win free kicks that just aren't there.

Father time catches up with everyone and I reckon it has with Johno unfortunately.

As per Rogers recent post on Matty Richardson, you'd have to think we're most likely seeing the last of him this year ... Brownlow night will never be the same without him!! :(

How old is Shannon Grant?

Mate you've missed the mark by a fair way with this post.

Aaron Davey - Red hot form and looking much fitter
Russell Robertson - Evergreen and energetic and giving them a target
Brent Maloney - Finally starting to improve after a few years standing still with injury
James Frawley - Looking like developing into a fine defender
Cale Morton - Looks very promising and his disposal will get better
Ricky Petterd - Courageous young player who is very versatile
Cameron Bruce - Dependable experienced player
Stefan Martin - Athletic big man who is starting to come on fast

Throw in the injured players, Wonaemirri, Green, Grimes and young Watts as well and you'll see that though underdeveloped there is nothing wrong with Melbourne's list.

Swooper does have an idea and it's probably this...McLeod rarely gets out of first gear anymore.

I'd add Warnock to that list too REB, he'll be around for a while I think. With Frawley, Martin, Davey etc, their back-half will be alright.

Richo's hammy might mean this could be his last year, would be a terrible way to go out for a guy who has had little team success over such a long career.

Also, how would Rob Harvey be feeling at the moment? St Kilda 6-0, almost looking like a genuine threat to Geelong. It would be the world's ost bittersweet feeling if they manage to win the flag this year.

Throw Newton into that Melbourne list of promise as well.

Richo can certainly go around again IMO.
