Thoroughly enjoyable, and like Dutchy, really enjoyed the non AFL bits.

As for the inspirational bits, I thought Jonathan Brown stole the show

Saw most of it last night. Went to show that the essence of football is the same at all levels. Even in this day and age, to listen and see how Crawford, Clarkson and Brown went about motivating and talking in front of their players was no different to the experience you get playing lower levels.

I think the AFL clubs will have it on sale. If not all clubs, certainly Hawthorn will stock it.

Wouldn't bother mate, two hours of cliches. About 4 interesting moments in the entire film.

Certainly didn't think it was as good as Year of the Dogs or The Passion to Play

EzyDVD are safe now

They got bought out by some bigger DVD distributor and I've been getting orders fine since then - in fact they have more range than they used to.

On the show itself - I thought it was OK but I probably missed the point because I wanted to see more of the AFL footage!

I downloaded it last night and watched it.

I enjoyed it immensely. Whether its the fact we are footy starved and need a good fix or what but the way they went from the little auskickers right up to the big boys and everything in between was great.

Mick Saunders (Victor Harbor coach and an old coach of mine) and his 'BOYS, Ive got one word for you.......SELFISHFOOTBALLERS' hahaha. The message from the coaches was the same as the ones we get. When Crawfs tellin his players to keep it simple, play your role, in 'essence' the game is the same no matter what level ur playing it at!

Was a well put together doco and u can see that they (AFL Boys) play the game for the same reasons as we do, for the mateship and the thrill of achieving that ultimate goal with those mates.

EX-AFL footballer and Australian Survivor winner Rob Dickson was killed overnight in a car accident in South Africa.
