I would like to say a big congratulations to Hayden Skipworth, people do not realize how much this guy deserves his spot. Hope he can get a few more games then he did with the Crows and really show his midfield and clearance skills. Great comeback after snapping ligaments off the knee cap and having most of his 1st year off at the Bendigo Bombers and then to come back and win the B/F this year.

On Cousin of course you have to pick him up but I feel very sorry for the poor young man who thought he was going to be part of the Richmond squad this year, im sure Richmond would have spoken to him and maybe pick him up as a rookie.

I've heard Zac Dawson has gone to the Saints. How or when did this happen?

He'll get picked as a rookie, Polak will go on the long term injury list and the rookie will be promoted.

I am glad to see Ben Cousins get another opportunity to do what he does best, play football. I hope he makes the most of it as not all are lucky enough to be given a second chance.

Good to see Benny get another go!! Hopefully he can repay Richmond with 2 or 3 good years of footy and keep his nose clean at the same time!

I wouldnt feel too sorry for him. it was David Gourdis who was delisted by Richmond in the first place, he got picked up in the rookie draft so he still has a chance to prove his worth. How his stocks have dropped in the last 2 years.

Well its probably worth the punt. It will be interesting to see how his body goes with a full pre season. The body can become a bit "soft" after a year off. By that I mean Soft tissue injuries are pretty much the norm for the season. So for a guy at 30 it will be interesting. I wish him all the best but I think he might find this next year really tough.

bit sad to see that the ben cousins sideshow has taken away from one of the great stories of all three drafts, liam jurrah getting taken by the dees. If nothing else it has automatically won melbourne 600 badly needed supporters from the community of Yuendemuand a 6'3'' forward who has speed comparable to the davey's. Lets all hope he gets a chance and can really make ago of it at the highest level after bypassing all the traditional pathways.

And couldn't his old man Leo play Cripple??? Mad as a cut snake but gee a good mark and could kick a good goal.

The Spencers out at Yendumu can all play too, Kasmin, Sherman and Herman....

The other story is Ross Tungatalum from Melville Island

Two kids taken from the extremes of the Australian Environment a salt-water man from the Tiwi islands and a desert man from the Tanami
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
