57 goals is a good tally but how many of those goals came against good teams? Hence, no Motlop for AA for mine. Flat track bully.

26 goals against Top 8 sides. 31 against Bottom 8 sides. The difference is hardly enough to constitute a flat track bully call in my opinion.

To call it a 'terrible selection' as Dutchy put it is just ridiculous. hes finished 8th in the goalkicking and scored more goals than any other non-KPF. His selection in the squad is completely justified and if he gets the nod in the actual team then it will be well deserved.

B : S.Fisher, M.Scarlett, D.Pratt
R : D.Cox, C.Judd, G.Ablett
I/C : C.Enright, M.Pavlich, S.Mitchell, M.Richardson

19 out of 22, missed Bock, Morris and Sandilands for Fisher, Mitchell and Milburn.

No it's 31 goals against bottom 7 sides, he can't kick goals against Port. If he kicked ten goals less but was more consistent then I'd be more likely to agree with you. Bags of seven against the laughable Bombers combination might represent three good games against top opposition. Wouldn't mind betting his goal assists are well down on the blokes that did get the nod. He was overlooked and rightfully so.

How many goals did Motlop get against Geelong, Bulldogs, and Hawthorn. They were a fair way ahead of the rest this season so I think your 'top eight' anology is also pretty fuzzy.
