I couldn't stand the pre-match discussion today on the Hawthorn v Carlton game, they made several points:
1. "I'm not saying Hawthorn should have handed Fevola the 100th goal, but they've shouldn't have tried to prevent it either". Try and work that one out. If you do, then explain it to me. Then they (I think it was Blandis) called Hawthorn "party poopers". I'm sorry, but it wasn't a "party", it was a contest in professional sport, and you don't hand opposition players things on a platter. You make them earn it.
2. Then they criticised Hawthorn ruckman Rob Campbell for having his photo taken by a spectator when thousands of spectators were swarming all over the ground doing as they please. The comment made was, "Alastair Clarkson wouldn't have been happy with Campbell".
Question guys, what was Campbell supposed to be doing while people ran all over the field? He was standing there waiting for the game to re-start, and someone runs up with a camera and takes his photo with someone standing next to him? I am sure if Campbell had told them to f#@k off, the media would have slammed him for that as well. I repeat, what exactly was it Campbell was supposed to be doing while idiots held up the game for 10 minutes?
Just for once, I'd like the 5RPH team to actually think before flapping their gums about things they obviously fail to comprehend.
