The Saints get run up the flagpole by Melbourne media, who are living in the past, every year if no true Melbourne team is looking strong - they don't really count Geelong as they are too out-of-town to be popular. McDermott must pinch his ideas from them.

The Saints, like the Crows, are a middleweight team. Neither of them look like being there beyond the first round after today.

For Dutchy, I'll concede that Collingwood, then his Roos, are the only teams potentially likely to cause any surprise.
Either could - on a good day - but I don't expect either to be in the GF.

The crows forward line was the problem again. Although they have potential with Moron an co, I just not sure how they will kick goals against a half decent team. Gotta work with what you got at the moment. There crows forward problems cant be fixed in a week or so. And with Tippett not ready to step up it looks like Moron is the only option. To be honest I dont know what there going to do to help themselves out for the finals. Againts teams with good midfields and reasonable defences there going to stuggle let again coming up against good teams.

I'm dirty on Adelaide. Two weeks ago, they belted the Tigers, and then when they had a chance to redeem themselves, they go and let St Kilda sneak into the top 8 by getting belted.
